Terms of Service

Effective: July 27, 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of TexMail, an open-beta service operated by WW Research. By using TexMail, you agree to these terms.

What TexMail provides

TexMail renders KaTeX-compatible mathematics in your browser and, at your request, creates an editable draft in your Gmail account. TexMail does not send the message to its recipient. You decide whether and when to edit or send it in Gmail.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing every recipient, equation, and part of the message before sending it. Use only a Google account you are authorized to use. Do not use TexMail for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or unsolicited email.

Google services and privacy

Google authorization, Gmail, and your Google account remain subject to Google's terms and policies. TexMail requests Google access only when you initiate Gmail draft creation or verification of an interrupted draft. The Privacy Policy explains what the app accesses, what remains on your device, and how to delete local data or revoke Google access.

Open-beta availability

TexMail is provided on an "as available" basis during the open beta. Features may change, pause, or stop, and output may contain rendering or delivery errors. To the extent permitted by law, WW Research disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. For a question about these terms, contact contact@wwresearch.org.
